Vintage Train Birthday Party

Our boy turns two today! We are so thankful to our family and friends who helped us celebrate him yesterday evening with this fun Vintage train birthday party! We had a record-breaking heat wave in Texas this past week, so what was originally planned to be a both indoor/outdoor party became an exclusively indoor party because of the ridiculously hot weather. We stayed cool inside with multiple fans running.

I had lots of fun making decor for this Vintage Train birthday party. We also borrowed or used things we already had to make this party festive. You can never go wrong with a letterboard! I’m also so happy I stumbled upon these Happy Birthday yard letters at Hobby Lobby. I found the coolest name train on amazon that doubled as decor and a gift. B was in heaven with all the trains. The boy loves him some trains. He loved opening his gifts as well. Afterwards, we lined all the toddler boys up on the couch and took their picture. So much fun!

My goal was to serve only food Barrett could have which meant the cupcakes were egg and dairy free. They were quite delicious!  We also had hot dogs, chips, tea, juice boxes, and homemade strawberry lemonade. Yum! We had the best time celebrating our boy. Enjoy the photos! Also, if you haven’t seen B’s 2nd birthday photo shoot, check them out here.
