I’m beyond thrilled to introduce a new series of blog posts I plan to do: Vendor Spotlights! I couldn’t be more honored to have Amber be my first feature. Amber is so talented and really makes your big day unforgettable. She is a dream to work with because she keeps the day flowing and her floral arrangements are divine. She is located in Gilmer, Texas, but I know she works weddings all over the East Texas area, Read on to see what the wedding process looks like when you book her.

What exactly is a day-of wedding coordinator?
a day-of wedding coordinator’s duties are a large part of making your wedding go seamlessly. They make certain vendors are where they need to be and setup appropriately, the wedding party is dressed and ready to go on time, venue’s decorations are on point, that the couple stick to the timeline you created with them, but also moving the times on the timeline if the need arises, and everything in between. Their sole purpose is to take all of the worry, burden and stress off of you and your family so you can truly enjoy your day.

What does your booking process look like?
The booking process is very easy. We can either do a phone call or have a free consultation meeting somewhere and discuss my package options. Once you decide which package best suits you then a contract is signed and a deposit is made to secure your date.

What is the first step you recommend after a couple books their venue?
It really depends on the timeframe from the wedding date. Top three things is DJ, food and flowers.
Figure out the theme and color scheme of your wedding. Get ideas of what you are wanting because this will help with food and floral arrangements.

What are some of the perks of a day-of wedding coordinator?
Taking the burden off you for sure! No one wants to worry themselves sick if the tables are decorated correctly or if the caterer is setting up, is the DJ there and ready, etc. while getting their hair done. So many brides do not get to enjoy their day and take in the beauty of not only the decorations, flowers, but the happiness that’s around them.

What is something special you are able to offer your clients?
Peace of mind. From the moment you book your wedding with me I’m there by your side to answer all of your questions and guide you through the entire planning process. The planning process should be just as fun as the wedding itself.

What’s your favorite wedding trend of 2020 and what do you think will be popular in 2021?
I am in love with the uniqueness of floral arrangements. Brides have got away from the typical round bouquets and going so abstract.
For 2021, there will be many new trends. I just hope each bride finds something unique to showcase in her wedding to make it more personal to her.
