Kaylee and Trent got married on a toasty hot June day at her family’s new venue outside of Longview, Texas. The Barn at Shadow Ranch has all sorts of exotic animals roaming around which are fun to see as you’re out and about there. They also created a bar cart out of a horse trailer which added a fun element to the day. Their new shared last name Pierce was spelled out in light-up marquee letters in front of the barn along with a colorful bounce house. We had a great time using both of these for photo ops.
Kaylee had her best gal pals as bridesmaids and when I arrived, they were all glammed up and in matching jammies. The florists were finishing up decor and the guys were getting ready across the highway in an epic man cave. Kaylee opted for a first look with her dad in front of the lodge and then took photos with her bridesmaids on the bridge her dad built. The work they did to prepare for this special day was evident throughout.
At ceremony time, the bridesmaids walked up with the groomsmen and Kaylee was escorted by both her dad and grandfather. The bride and groom exchanged their handwritten vows and Trent shared how he would exceed all of Kaylee’s expectations and then she told him he had exceeded all her expectations. Such a sweet unplanned parallel in their vows. I loved it! Trent kissed his bride and they exited with big grins on their faces as they were finally married.
At the reception, a taco truck prepared dinner for guests and the newly married couple shared their first dance. Toasts were given and guests enjoyed dancing together. The couple cut the beautiful cake and visited with their guests. We ended the night with a sparkler exit and a last dance at the reception as husband and wife. Such a fun wedding!
A word of thanks:
Kaylee + Trent, Thanks so much for asking me to document this special day for you both! It was a complete honor and it is evident you both are so dearly loved by all those who surrounded you on your wedding day. Wishing you both all the happiness this world has to offer!
