I thought it’d be pouring rain all day that Saturday and we would have to pivot and we would indeed pivot. BUT it only sprinkled and we got to take photos outside which felt like an absolute gift. When we arrived, the girls were finishing up hair and make-up. I got right to work documenting all their special detail photos while Hannah took photos of the groom and his groomsmen. Lorie looked stunning in her wedding dress and veil. It was so special to photograph her with her best gal pals by her side. Then she chose to do a first look with both her dad and brother. Cue ALL the tears. Such sweet moments they shared together. After that, Lorie and Hunter had a first touch where they shared their handwritten vows. The love they have for one another permeated each photo I took. I’ve been in my feels editing these because you can’t fake emotion like this. This love is real and overpowering in the most beautiful way.
Once Lorie was safely tucked back in the bridal suite, the guests began to fill seats for the ceremony to begin. I was able to snag a few photos of the groom with his family before the ceremony began. The couple chose beautiful music to accompany all of the aisle walks. Hunter’s face beamed as he saw his bride for the first time that day. Lorie’s Uncle Danny married the couple and shared a hilarious story about Lorie’s brother Kyle tagging along on their second date and interrogating Hunter. Needless to say, he didn’t scare Hunter off and the love Lorie had for him began to grow. Lorie and Hunter exchanged vows and rings and then braided a cord while their guests prayed over them. After Uncle Danny announced them husband and wife, they stopped mid-aisle to display a gorgeous dip kiss pose. Mr. and Mrs. Foster, thanks for practicing that beforehand. 😉
The reception began with introductions of the wedding party and first dance. A dance was also shared between the bride and her dad and the groom and his mom. I always enjoy seeing these special moments on the dance floor. A delicious meal was served and guests began to visit with the beloved newlyweds. Some fun-filled dancing took place and then a mock-exit filled with sparklers as they celebrated their new life together. What a beautiful day to celebrate these two committing their whole lives to one another!Â
A word of thanks:Â
