Autumn and Taylor // East Texas Wedding at Dove Hollow Estate

Autumn and Taylor tied the knot at Dove Hollow Estate in the woods near White Oak, Texas last Thursday afternoon. They have been together for over 9 years since they were sophomores in high school. Taylor proposed back in 2019 on Christmas. They have 2 beautiful children and it was so special to see them incorporated into their beautiful wedding day.  I was able to take their engagement photos a week prior to their wedding date and it turned out to be a beautiful sunny day, much like their wedding day. 

On their wedding day, the bridesmaids and bride all had on matching monogrammed button down shirts and we took a few photos of them together getting ready. Then the bride headed downstairs to decorate while I photographed her details. Seeing a bride set out her decorations was a first for me! They turned out lovely and then Autumn put her wedding dress on. She looked gorgeous and her bridesmaids squealed in agreement. You could tell she is so loved by her gal pals and her sisters. 

Next, I photographed Taylor getting his suit jacket on. It was sweet to see him interacting with both their kids before the ceremony.  I took him down to the black chapel to stand with his back facing where Autumn would walk up. They had a sweet first look together where they hugged and shared a few moments together. 

They got married in front of a beautiful circle arch decorated with silk florals. The weather was perfect as they said their vows to one another. Their daughter, the flower girl, kept running down the aisle during the ceremony. She was adorable. 

After the ceremony, we took all the family and wedding party photos and then it was time for their husband and wife portraits. The sun was setting behind them when we snapped these, so we had that dreamy golden hour light. This wedding was in attendance by mainly their family and a few dear friends, so it was truly an intimate occasion for the bride and groom. I ended my time with them by snapping photos of their first married dance together and then cutting their wedding cake and doing their toast to one another. What a beautiful wedding for a lovely couple!
