May 13th was a beautiful day to get married. Lauren and Bailey said “I do” in front of their closest family and friends. So much thought went into planning this special day. Their cake’s middle tier had a bible verse inscribed. Be devoted to one another in love. Honor one another above yourselves. Romans 12:10 They also invited guests to sign a bible highlighting their favorite verses to share with the bride and groom.
Both Lauren and Bailey had their wedding party pray over them before the ceremony and I’m not sure there was a dry eye in the room. Such beautiful prayers for a strong foundation of marriage. After the prayer for Lauren, her mom gave her a bracelet to wear that had been an anniversary gift to her mom from her late father. It was truly a beautiful way to honor his memory and for him to be a part of Lauren’s wedding day.
It was so very evident the couple is dearly loved by those closest to them. The groomsmen showcased their fabulous custom socks and their fun personalities during the wedding party photos. They also each had a special handshake they did with the groom as they met him at the end of the aisle. The bridesmaids were full of laughter when it was their turn for photos.
Bailey was overcome with emotion when he saw Lauren for the first time. The love he has for her was apparent to all who were there. Lauren smiled as walked towards her future husband. A beautiful message about marriage was shared and the two lighted a unity candle following their parents.
I smiled quite big when I noticed the bride’s niece, also the flower girl, fixing the bride’s dress during the final ceremony prayer. She got that dress just perfect for he sweet aunt. The newly married couple entered the reception giddy as ever. They also did a last dance which was truly special and then exited as sparklers waved in the air.
A word of thanks:
