Dade and Adi met in junior high and then were high school sweethearts. Dade proposed almost a year ago at the Rose Garden in Tyler. The search for a perfect spot to tie the knot began. The historic church and beautiful reception area above the Jefferson library fit the bill. The smitten couple were both beaming throughout the entire ceremony and then walking down the aisle as married couple, their smiles spread wide across their faces. You could hear the church bells ringing and their guests cheered aloud. A trolley took guests over to the library reception after the ceremony.
Adi loves the book Freckles and in the book, the ring mentioned is an emerald which was the inspiration behind her engagement ring. Of course, we had to feature her stunning ring with the book itself. The wedding party was truly their hype squad. It was fun to witness the energy they brought to the happy couple’s wedding day.
Once at the reception, guests were able to choose a mug as a wedding favor. The newlyweds had their first dance. Then Dade danced with his mom and Adi with her dad. So many emotions during those sentimental moments. Toasts were given, cake was cut and then they ended the night with a timed guest photo op and sparkler exit surrounded by their family and friends.
A word of thanks:
Adi and Dade, Thank you for asking me to document this special day. It was truly an honor. It is evident you are both incredibly loved by your people and joy filled the room that day. Wishing you both all the happiness this world has to offer, Emilee
