It was a gloriously perfect November afternoon. Rachel and Chris were both giddy with excitement to finally be husband and wife. Ever since I met them both this past May, I have never stopped being amazed at their electric energy. They are fun-filled to the brim and love life. This wedding was a perfect display of that. All of their favorite people gathered to celebrate with them and it was a joy to capture and witness. They chose to have a first look which was a sweet time together before they tied the knot. I remember Chris sharing about when he first met Rachel, he wasn’t crazy about her. Her maid of honor Asia also shared the same sentiment during her speech. They both agreed that Rachel quickly changed their perspectives and neither one could live without her now. Rachel and Chris both have magnetic personalities that invite others to celebrate life and have fun. One thing I loved is how Asia ended her speech. She raised her “ministry hand” (a long-shared joke with Rachel) and invited the guests to do the same. Together, we all blessed their new union.
Rachel’s dad shared during his toast that Rachel and Chris both make each other better, but also how they make their families better now that they’re together forever. That incredible sentiment will always stick with me. Rachel’s brother stole the show with his epic dance moves and had everyone smiling and dancing too. They ended the night walking through a flurry of sparklers and spent the past week on a honeymoon cruise. Thank you Rachel and Chris for the honor of capturing your beautiful day! I loved every minute spent with y’all.
This day wouldn’t have been possible without these lovelies.
