Constance + Otto :: Wedding at Enoch’s Stomp, Harleton, TX

After being set up on Halloween of last year, Constance and Otto began to talk each night on the phone. They finally met at Thanksgiving break and then Otto proposed after Christmas. Their engagement season has definitely been an adventure thanks to Covid-19 and long distance. It was a total honor to capture their beautiful wedding last weekend. Not a detail was missed. There was so much intention in their ceremony. It was blazing hot outside, so we took the majority of photos indoors. Constance looked absolutely radiant in her lace wedding dress. Otto looked dapper in his khaki suit. Most of their flowers were grown at a local farm. How cool is that?! And their venue made me feel as though we were transported to another state, definitely didn’t feel like I was in Texas (heat aside ).

They each wrote letters for the other to read during their first look. Even in the midst of pandemic, the day was full of love. Guests began to fill the room. The music started to play. They live-streamed the ceremony for loved ones who couldn’t be there to celebrate with them. It was evident that they want their marriage to honor Christ and to tell others of His love. They spent the evening visiting with those near and dear to their hearts. One of my favorite moments was capturing Constance with her former students. They were absolutely giddy to see her after such a long time apart. Otto’s mom used to make wedding cakes for a living, so she was able to make their first anniversary cake to freeze. It was proudly displayed at their head table. I smirked as I asked them why their wedding party all had 7-11 cups. Otto and Constance both looked at each other and then at me and exclaimed, “It’s our wedding date!” Such a fun idea! I took their husband and wife photos out at sunset in front the stunning vineyard. Their love for one another is truly a beautiful sight. After a fun-filled evening, they departed by walking through bubbles.

It was a magical day and I loved being able to capture my dear friend’s wedding. Thank you Otto and Constance for the honor and I wish you both all the happiness in the world! Love, Emilee
