Danielle + Jason :: The Wedding

On Saturday October 13th, the rain poured all morning and afternoon. We brought our rain boots and umbrellas. But like magic, the skies cleared just in time for this whimsical wedding ceremony where Dani and Jason tied the knot, quite literally. They held a handfasting ceremony to symbolize the binding together of their two souls. Twinkle lights filled the trees and lanterns adorned each table as they danced the night away. The flower girls and the bride wore wings to make this woodland fairy wedding something straight out of a storybook.

The Jarrells’ tribe loves them well. It was so evident all evening. All of the groomsmen knew Jason from Mr. Magoo’s, a bar his mom owned and he had worked at for 12 years. Their friendship was a delight to witness, not to mention they were hilarious. Dani also met Jason at Mr. Magoo’s, so this place is very near and dear to their hearts. Dani’s bridesmaid Tori shared during the toast, “That all women want to be looked at the way Jason looks at Danielle.” Danielle and Jason got married by their friend Steve, who works at a local convenience store they frequent weekly. They were in need of someone to marry them and he was ordained, so it just made sense. Many of Danielle’s family and friends traveled from Canada to celebrate for the weekend, including her half-sister Roz that was reunited with them about 4 years ago.

Jason proposed at Walt Disney World in Avatar World. It was all lit up that night and as Dani shared, “It was magical.” He proposed again at home with his mom’s ring which made it extra special. Dani kept mentioning how sparkly the ring was. Her philosophy, “The sparklier, the better.”

Dani’s father Art placed bells at every centerpiece. The guests were to ring the bells and the newly married couple was to kiss. During the toasts, the bells rang many times. Each bridesmaid gave the bride a charm for her bouquet. They all symbolized different wedding wishes they had for her. There were so many personalized details to this day making it all the more special.

Her sister Morgan expressed her well wishes for the happy couple by sharing this, “I am grateful that after all Dani’s ups and downs, her path has led her to someone that lights her up, keeps her best interest the utmost priority and above all loves her fully with all of her quirks and stuff. The universe is so amazing how it works to align the best parts of people sometimes. It is amazing because He is a lot like her and all the best parts of both of them make such an amazing match. If you know these two well, you know the glow they have for each other. You may have even been slightly nauseated in their presence a time or two with the way they are with each other. More than that, they are both whole-hearted people that love not only each other, but others as well.”

Dani and Jason, thanks for such a lovely weekend away! Your love is evident to all and it was our absolute delight to photograph it for you. Best wishes in your marriage and life. Love, Emilee
